CREATING THE FUTURE

   Hi guys,

I recently bought Grant Cardone's 10X Planner.

It's great. I know from experience that when you write your goals twice a day, things happen!

And I have been applying 10X rules (there are 2 of them ) to my life.

If you are especially starting a new activity that you are excited about, such as a new business, try this.

Grant Cardone has many other videos on you tube.
You can check them out too.

YOUR SKILLS AND YOUR INDEPENDENCE

You can use your skill(s) to increase your independence.

Be a skill hoarder : ) In the sense that, if there are short courses / workshops around, and you like the subjects, I say don't miss the opportunities and learn about them.

What I mean is the more skills you have, the more you CAN CONTROL LIFE. It is true!!!!

The more you can control life, the more carefree you will be.

Let me give you an example. This shows you how having a skill is a valuable thing. It also shows you that most people are well intending.

One of those rare times, I left the kids with my husband and went out to run an errand. On the way back, I stopped to get gas (petrol if you live outside of the U.S.). I filled up the tank and as I was trying to leave, the car wouldn't start! Oh no, what do I do? Calling my husband, getting the road service people come by , waiting around...all these things crossed my mind. Not fun stuff.

Anyway, next to me there were these young handsome boys, they were getting gas, getting stuff from the convenience store and I think they were returning their empty beer bottles : ) but wait these guys had the skill.

They knew about cars. When they noticed that I'm trying to start the car and it is not starting, one of them ,who was cleaning the windshield of his car, said , "let me take a look when I'm done".

He and  one of his friends came by, opened the front hood, tightened the bolts on the battery that were loosened, and jump started the car. They said I needed to change the battery (some advice on what needed to be fixed,  I can't remember now but it was like I was talking to mechanics!)

They exactly figured the problem out, fixed it and I was on my way within 3-4 minutes  from the time they touched my car. I don't know what you would consider this but I would consider it freaking
 A-MAZ-ING!!

These guys were fast, helpful and confident. God bless them!

My point is, societies need cool people like that...handsomeness/beauty is one thing, but skill is another, more valuable.

I want you think  how you could help yourself and others if you had one (or more) of these skills....

Conventional construction,
Cars (mechanical skill)
Non-conventional construction (building Straw Bale and Cob type of structures)
Art
Wood work (knowing how to build furniture, cabinets, house frame, decoration items etc)
Paper Making
Writing
Acting and Entertainment
Gardening (growing vegetable and  other plants)
Landscaping
Electric (including solar panel system or any other system)
Electronics (setting up a device)
Sewing
Pottery
Tiling
Computers (creating web sites, giving information to your folks about what is what )
Jewelry Making
Plumbing
Mechanics/Inventing
Publishing
Movie Making
Documentary Making
Organizer (of events)
Motivator (for success)
Healthy Living Adviser ( I especially mean alkaline and organic living)
Shoe Maker
Fabric Maker (weaver)
Basket Weaver (or weaving other items)
Glass Blower
Language
Design (on the computer, clothing, furniture, house....)
......
.....

If you had one or more of these skills, would you start a business on the skill that you love?
Would you gather your family, friends and community members  in your backyard and give them lectures?
Would you use your knowledge to help somebody else?

Think about these. : )

ANNOUNCEMENT

HEY guys! All of you within the U.S. or in other countries.  I hope you are getting motivated to start your business, imagine and create solutions for problems (in your life or otherwise).

The subjects I talk about here  (the business ideas)  whether it's pottery, woodwork, tile work, writing, soap making, card making, travel journalism, on and on...I am interested in all these creations myself!

I couldn't possibly do all these by myself, that's where you come in....: ) Chuckle.
You start producing, making money, being independent, I'll be happy for you and for me.
It's not like producing things myself, but close enough, I'll be your motivational person for success. : )

Having said that,  I realized the necessity of having examples for the points I make.
Otherwise it's a "One woman show" : ) I talk you listen, you might not believe in the things I am talking about. So I've got to prove them to you, right.

Change: I am letting you know that I will be interviewing small business owners or people that change conditions in their sphere, that are being successful, that had/have challenges, and they are continuously overcoming those.

WHAT ARE YOU UP TO?

imagebase.net

Hello you out there. Your current life and existence isn't just there, not effecting anything.
So wrong. I used to think that way too.

Individuals in their lives are ALWAYS up to something.

These somethings can be in many forms, including up to "nothing".

Even the individuals that choose to do nothing about things (apparent "up to nothing")  are doing something. Doing nothing is something.  Ignoring is something. Their action is the "doing nothing". It's still a verb.

So what is the gist of your life?

Are you up to "I like being weird"

or " Poor me, I am suffering so much"

or  "It's all mine!"

or  "I'm out to get all of you"

or maybe "Oooh, look at my cuuuute body" . Funny one. A lot of people nowadays are like that.

So if any one of these apply to you, perhaps you could change it. Have a different attitude.

I know many people in the world are about "I don't know" , "I can't" , "It's not my responsiblity", "I'm not entitled to...", " I need to be approved by an authority".

Pay attention. If you have the last 5 attitudes, I'll tell you, you are making a mistake that is stupid.

Replace them. Because you do have the authority, you are entitled, you do know or can know and can do as well.

The basic-est way you can do these (here I am inventing words) is by being successful and know that your attitude is helping to create a pattern in the world (pattern of attitude),  and by improving your knowledge about life.

HOW TO BUILD SELF-CONFIDENCE

Hey guys, you need to be successful, here is a video you can watch.

Grant Cardone, very inspiring guy. He is talking about wanting success in a delusional way.

I think what he means is, even at the beginning if you are doubtful about being and feeling successful, even if there are doubts from other people regarding your success, you still do the actions, pound through, want success like crazy AND get there!  Of course your product should be positive.

When you become successful, it is natural to be self-confident, but you don't become successful immediately and your self-confidence isn't there immediately either. It's a process. What kind of process? Action kind of process. Production kind of process. Entrepreneurship kind of process, where you ask yourself,  what product can I sell that people can use.  How can I  provide a service and create an income for myself AND grow my service area.

Here is the show, watch it.

FEAR-INSECURITIES-WORRIES

The Actresses: Full Uncensored Interview

Hello everybody.

I came across with these interviews on You Tube (You Tube is such a vast, creative arena.  Recently I have been watching a lot of videos to get inspired and to learn ).

So I didn't know anything about The Hollywood Reporter Interviews. They have been interviewing Actors, Actresses, Comedians, Writers, Movie Composers....

I think seeing these people who are famous and successful, sharing their lives (personal and career-wise) would be awesome experience for us, "the commoners".  : )  That's what  I predict. Per the You Tube record, some thousands of people watched them. So people at large aren't aware of these interviews.

We tend to be in mystery when it comes to success and successful people. "Wow, how did she/he do it?"
So I assume watching these interviews will be inspiring.

The amazing thing I heard uniformly among all these actors/actresses (  I watched  several interviews, so 20-30 famous people) is that ;

1-They have their insecurities, such as, am I gonna be able to have another job?

2- They have been through many rejections (I say, God bless them for not giving up and continuing), and       of course they all had points in their "pre-famous" lives, where they doubted their abilities, their chance of succeeding in this business.

3-They all feel they are fortunate to have the chance to be in this business, it is fun, pays off....

4- They all wonder if they'll be able to deliver what is required of them...so they get nervous even when they commit and start the projects.

So what I want you to learn from them is, FEAR-INSECURITIES-WORRIES do happen even to the best of us. Don't let them stop you. These people experience these negative emotions and aren't stopped by them...it's almost like "they walk through these emotions.

A friend, Grant Cardone said something along this line  , fears, insecurities are real, you just don't let them stop you....he said, go do the things that make you feel uncomfortable , that's the zone you should be in, and that's where the magic happens.

THE DIFFERENCE AND THE SHORTCUT

FreeDigitalPhotos.net image by Marin

The difference between you and the people who are successful and have your dream job is that , they are doing it.

Don't give yourself excuses like, "well, they are rich", "well, they went to school", "well, they are pretty", "well, they are this or that".

When you start doing it, you are instantly on the other side of the door, among do-ers. Your doing-ness does not need to be perfect.

You CAN still try to be as good as you can. I recommend that.

If you don't know how, the best way you can learn a job is from the people who are doing it.

Go apprentice.

I am absolutely sure, you will learn more that way than if you took a class about it. Whatever the subject is.

USE WHAT YOU GOT

Per my rough calculation  there are 205 million adults between the ages of 18 to 65 within the US.
Most of these people should be producing for themselves, they are not too old, not too young, so no excuse.

Per the census.gov there are only 27 million businesses in this country. 21 million of these businesses have no payrolls (meaning the individual works in his own business). Only 6 million of businesses have payrolls.

So let's figure this!  We have 205 million people , let's take out the 10 million stay-at-home moms (I know how hard it can be to have a business while you are taking care of kids)  that leaves us with 195 million people.

So what are these 195 million people doing? Looking for employment in those 6 million businesses.

How are you going to fit 195 million into 6million??? You tell me. Of course there is "unemployment", of course there is "competition".

You need to forget about what you learned from your parents (even if you are an adult) and society and create your own employment.

This doesn't mean put on a tie or a business suit....

Use your skills and interests. If you don't have skills,  what do you like possibly doing?
Put your attention on it. You can start and build skill thereafter.

We are lacking success as a nation or as the world (per the numbers), but I do know that we do not lack interests.

Many of us have positive interests , singing, dancing, dress making, art making, knick knack making, pottery, designing furniture, photography, writing, cartoon creating, being a positive news agent in town, gardening (sell your flowers!), vegetable growing, painting houses, tile layer, wood works, carpentry,  up-cycling furniture, carpet cleaning, gadget making, card making, knitting, ....list goes on and on. You could even think with the idea "what service or tools people need but are missing? "

All these things are needed in the world by people. Just because some people are producing in these fields, does not mean you can't produce. We do need more creation in the world.

The numbers above show (these are only in the US, you can imagine the rest of the world) that we are mostly consumers and literally not confident to produce. When we do this, we are leaving the production area to Pharmaceutical companies, "Healthcare", Armed Forces, "Food" Companies (each put out chemical/food products by the dozens).

We may think, well who's gonna buy my product....it is up to your skill, enthusiasm and how much you are making yourself known .

Skill probably being the least important, especially at the beginning.

TRUE. But how? Imagine you made a rough pottery coffee cup.  When you are enthusiastic about it and make yourself known by others as the potter, one soul might find your work interesting. It is likely.

However if you took out the other two (enthusiasm and making yourself known) , it doesn't matter much, how skilled you are or how stunning your product is. How are people gonna know?

Remember you can start small and thrive. Thrive to be known for your product , thrive to produce the best possible product , accomplish a great customer service, create the best image and fame etc.

It can be so small that you are producing 2 items this week and your only customer is your grandma and aunt . Next week try 3-4 and head for local open market in town. The next week produce 6+ go to the local stores, advertise in your local newspaper, use all the social media (which is free), introduce yourself to people.

Eventually you will have a successful business, that's how the businesses start.
