Well, apparently you can do that.
There are two types of houses that you can build with the help of your friends, family or hire people if you like.
Of course there are more natural building methods, but I will talk about the two only.
Cob House: This is where you build the walls of the building with soil-straw-water , you make a nice mud out of it, then sculpt your house.
Earth is probably still the world's commonest building material. The word cob comes from an old English root meaning a lump or rounded mass. Cob building uses hands and feet to form lumps of earth mixed with sand and straw, a sensory and aesthetic experience similar to sculpting with clay. Cob is easy to learn and inexpensive to build. (from cobcottage.com)
The oldest cob house still standing is 10,000 years old. Cob is strong, durable and cob houses should stand forever as long as their roof is maintained and the property is looked after properly. (from cobcourses.com)

Strawbale House: This house method uses straw stacks as the bricks, then you make cob mud to cover the surface of the straw "bricks", they call this plastering. You do a few layers of plastering after each layer is dry.

I am not an expert, this is what I know. There are TONS of videos, web sites about these subjects. I looked. You can too.
2 things to remember, Cob Houses are suitable for warmer climates and Strawbale Houses are for cold climates. Let's say you live in Minnesota, build a strawbale, if you life in Arizoana build a cob house.
Here are the ways the cob is built;

If you built a house and wanted to sell it, and I was a person looking to buy house, I would prefer to buy one of these naturally built homes instead of the chemically made, expensive homes. Just saying it.
